Electrolyte Subscription Terms

These terms sit alongside the existing terms of sale and do not cover balanceclub.

 

1. Introduction & Who We Are

These Subscription Terms apply when you purchase Selene Electrolytes on a recurring basis through the “Subscribe & Save” option on our website or Shopify store.

These Subscription Terms apply in addition to our standard Terms of Sale (Goods).
If there is a conflict between the two, these Subscription Terms take priority for subscription purchases.

By choosing the subscription option at checkout, you agree to these Subscription Terms and authorise recurring payments.

2. What the Subscription Includes

Your Selene Electrolyte subscription includes:

•One unit ofSelene Electrolytes(20 x 6g servings)•A recurring deliveryevery 30 days(unless you change it)•ASubscribe & Savediscounted price of£21.99 per delivery•Automatic renewal until you cancel•Ability to pause, skip, or cancel at any time via your Balance account

The one-time purchase price remains £24.00.

3. Eligibility

To subscribe you must:

•Be aged 18 or over•Have a valid UK billing and delivery address•Hold a valid payment method supported by our Shopify subscription provider•Create a Balance account so you can manage your subscription

We reserve the right to refuse subscription orders if we reasonably believe the terms are being misused.

4. Subscription Pricing

4.1 One-Time Purchase Price

•£24.00 for 20 x 6g servings.

4.2 Subscription Price

•£21.99 per delivery (Subscribe & Save).•The subscription price includes the recurring delivery every 30 days unless you choose a different interval via your account.

All prices include VAT where applicable.

4.3 Price Accuracy

If we ever need to correct a price error, we will notify you before processing the next renewal so you can decide whether to continue.

5. Billing Cycle & Renewal

5.1 Renewal Frequency

Your subscription will renew every 30 days (or at the frequency shown on the product page).

5.2 Renewal Confirmation

Before each renewal, you will receive an email confirming:

•The date of your next payment•The amount due (£21.99)•A reminder that you may cancel, pause, skip, or change your delivery date

5.3 When You Are Charged

You will be charged automatically on the renewal date using your saved payment method.

5.4 Ongoing Subscription Until Cancelled

Your subscription continues until you cancel it via your Balance account.

6. Your Payment Authority

6.1 Authorising Recurring Payments

By selecting “Subscribe & Save” and placing your order, you:

•Authorise Wellbeing Places Ltd to charge£21.99to your selected payment method at eachrenewal;•Agree to the recurring nature of the subscription; and•Confirm that you understand payments will continue until you cancel.

This is known as a Continuous Payment Authority (CPA).

6.2 Secure Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Shopify and our approved subscription provider (such as Appstle or Recharge).
We do not store your full card details.

6.3 Updating Your Payment Method

You can update cards or payment methods at any time in your subscription portal.

7. Failed Payments

7.1 If a Payment Fails

If we cannot process your payment:

1.We will notify you by email2.Your subscription provider may retry payment3.Your upcoming delivery may be paused

7.2 When We Cancel Due to Failed Payments

If we cannot collect payment after repeated attempts, we may cancel your subscription.
You will receive a notification before cancellation takes effect.

8. Price Changes

8.1 Notice Period

If the subscription price changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new price applies.

8.2 Your Right to Cancel

If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel at any time before the change takes effect.

8.3 Continued Use Means Acceptance

If you continue your subscription after the notice period, you accept the new price.

9. Managing Your Subscription

You can manage your subscription at any time through your Balance account.
Your subscription portal is powered by our approved Shopify subscription provider.

Through your portal you can:

Pauseyour subscription•Updateyour payment card•Updateyour delivery address•Changeorder frequency (if enabled)•Cancelyour subscription in one click

This portal is available 24/7 unless we are undergoing maintenance or updates.

10. Skipping or Changing a Delivery

10.1 Skip a Delivery

You may have the option to skip an upcoming delivery at any time before your next renewal date.

If you skip:

•You will not be charged for that cycle•The next scheduled delivery will occur as normal

11. Pausing Your Subscription

You may pause your subscription at any time for any reason.

When paused:

•You will not be charged•No deliveries will be made•Your subscription will remain in your account until reactivated•You can resume at any time in one click

12. Cancelling Your Subscription

12.1 Cancel Anytime

You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal date.

Cancellation is completed instantly through your subscription portal.

12.2 If You Cancel After a Renewal

If a renewal payment has already been taken:

•That month’s order will still be delivered•Your subscription will end immediately after that order•No further payments will be taken

12.3 One-Click Cancellation

Your account provides a one-click cancellation option, compliant with UK consumer regulations.

13. Account Requirements

To manage your subscription you must:

•Create and maintain a Balance account•Keep your email address up to date•Ensure your delivery address and payment method are accurate

We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information.

14. Cooling-Off Rights (Your Legal Right to Cancel)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel your first subscription order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Important notes:

•Cooling-off appliesonly to the first deliveryof your subscription.•If cancelling under the cooling-off rules, products must beunused and sealedunless they are faulty.•You then have a further14 daysto return the item.•Refunds are issued within14 daysof us receiving the returned goods (or proof of postage).

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

16. Standard Returns (For Future Deliveries)

For any subscription delivery after your first order:

•Returns are only accepted forunused and sealeditems, unless faulty.•Consumable products cannot be returned once opened for hygiene reasons.•You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

17. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

If a product arrives damageddefective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with:

•Your order number•A brief description of the issue•Optional photos (helpful but not required)

You are entitled to the remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

•A full refund within 30 days for faulty goods•A repair or replacement after 30 days if reasonable•Return postage paid by us for any confirmed fault

We will arrange replacement or a refund within 14 days of confirmation.

18. Refund Processing Times

Refunds are issued:

•To youroriginal payment method•Within14 daysof us receiving the returned item or confirming the fault•You will receive a confirmation email once processed

Please note:
We cannot refund to a closed bank account or expired card — you may need to update your payment method before we can process the refund.

19. Delivery of Subscription Orders

Subscription deliveries follow the same shipping process as our standard online orders.

Unless otherwise stated, we deliver only within the United Kingdom.

Each subscription delivery will:

•Be dispatched within1–2 working daysofrenewal;•Arrive in approximately2–3 working daysvia standard UKpostage;•Include tracking information where available.

If additional delivery options are offered (e.g., express delivery), these will be shown at checkout.

20. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges follow our standard delivery policy:

•Standard UK deliveryrate:as shown at checkout•Free delivery on orders over£60(if applicable at the time of purchase)

Delivery charges are applied automatically at checkout according to your basket value.

21. Delays or Failed Delivery

We are not responsible for delays outside our control, including:

•Courier or Royal Mail disruptions•Strikes•Weather issues•High seasonal demand•Incorrect addresses provided during checkout

If a delay occurs, we will keep you updated and work with the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If we cannot deliver your subscription for a reason within our control, we will:

•Re-send the order at no extra cost, or•Refund the delivery charge (if paid), or•Arrange an alternative solution with you.

22. Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you once delivery is made to your delivery address.

Ownership (legal title) of the goods remains with us until full payment for that cycle has been received.

If a renewal payment fails, we may:

•Pause your subscription, and•Delay dispatch until payment is successfully processed

23. Missing, Lost, or Stolen Parcels

If your parcel does not arrive within the expected timeframe:

1.Please contact us atsupport@beinbalance.uk2.We will investigate with the courier3.If confirmed lost, we will send a replacement or issue a refund

Stolen parcels (e.g., taken after delivery) may require a brief investigation and/or courier confirmation before we can resend.

24. Changes to Your Subscription

We may make reasonable changes to your subscription from time to time, including:

•Updating the product formula, packaging, or branding•Adjusting delivery intervals (if operationally required)•Updating subscription features offered through our provider•Introducing new delivery options

Where the change is material (for example, a significant change to what you receive each month), we will notify you by email.
If you do not agree with the change, you may cancel your subscription at any time.

25. Changes to Pricing

If we change the subscription price:

•You will be notified at least14 days in advance•You will have the right to cancel before the new price applies•Continued use of the subscription after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price

This ensures full transparency and fairness under UK consumer law.

26. Changes to These Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time to reflect:

•Changes in law or regulation•Updates required by Shopify or our payment providers•Improvements to our service•Clarifications or corrections to ensure accuracy

If the changes materially affect your rights or obligations:

•We will notify you via email or via your Balance account•You may cancel your subscription at any time before the changes take effect

The latest version of these Terms will always be available on our website.

27. Our Right to Decline or Cancel Your Subscription

We may refuse or cancel a subscription order if:

•There is an issue with payment authorisation•We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity•You repeatedly fail to receive deliveries due to incorrect addresses•The product is discontinued•The subscription service becomes unavailable for operational reasons

If we cancel your subscription:

•We will notify you via email•Any payments already taken for unfulfilled deliveries will be refunded

We will never cancel a subscription without notice unless the reason is fraud prevention or unlawful activity.

28. Misuse of the Subscription Service

We may suspend or cancel your subscription if we reasonably believe the service is being misused, including:

•Excessive first-time guarantee claims•Attempts to repeatedly obtain discounted subscription stock without intention to continue•Abusive interactions with customer support•Activities that breach Shopify or payment gateway rules

Where appropriate, we will contact you before taking action so you have the opportunity to clarify or correct any issues.

29. Our Responsibility to You (Liability)

We are responsible for:

•Loss or damage you suffer as aforeseeableresult of us failing to comply with these Subscription Terms•Providing goods that meet the requirements of theConsumer Rights Act 2015•Supplying products that match their description and are of satisfactory quality•Replacing, refunding, or repairing faulty goods as required by law

We are not responsible for:

•Losses not caused by our breach or negligence•Business losses (as this subscription is for personal use only)•Indirect or consequential losses (such as missed opportunities, loss of data, or loss of income)•Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier delays, strikes, or extreme weather

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

•Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation•Death or personal injury caused by negligence•Your statutory rights as a consumer

30. Personal Use Only

Products supplied under this subscription are intended for personal, non-commercial use.

We may refuse or cancel a subscription if we reasonably believe products are being purchased for resale.

31. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our:

32. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live in the UK:

•You benefit from statutory consumer protections•Any disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales,unless your local law gives you additional rights to bring proceedings elsewhere

represent the entire agreement relating to your Selene Electrolyte subscription.

They do not apply to:

•BalanceClub memberships•Digital content or events•Any services separate from the monthly product delivery

These will always have their own terms.
